Founder & Executive Producer/Director
I’m Charley the founder and director of Shortfilms.london. Before I set up Shortfilms.london I was a prime time TV director across many platforms and channels. I was fortunate to work across many genres including live television with Richard & Judy, and self shooting observational documentaries following the exclusive band, Girls Aloud, around the world. I’ve directed other prime time shows such as Property Ladder, Come Dine With Me and many more.
I decided to set up shortfilms.london with the aim to bring together all of the skills I learnt throughout my 20 year television career to new and exciting content creation projects. I have created a collaborative pool of highly skilled film and TV professionals who not only are great at what they do, but are also super nice people because i believe this makes a difference to the end product.

I’m Jon, and I started Shortfilms.london alongside Charley. I am a video editor by trade, and have a love for shortform craft video editing, using pace & tone to have maximum impact in telling a story. I love many other creative things, such as charcoal sketching and video art! Alongside Shortfilms.london I have worked at Sony Pictures Television for a large part of my career creating promos, film trailers and sales reels. I have also worked as Head of Creative at a large independent uk broadcaster overseeing a wide range of marketing, creative and branding work for tv, print and digital.
Shortfilms.london is a wonderful way for Charley and I to put our previous experience to great use in new and exciting ways, across many different genres, and tell some brilliant stories through beautifully made video content.
